Maui Vacations – At a Loss for Words
Nobody
has given the reasons why Maui has been consistently named the best island in
the world. Maybe, there are so many reasons why and people don’t bother to say
them anymore. It’s because when people go home after taking their Maui vacations, they simply don’t have the words for the whole experience.
Let’s
try to find out by picking some of the places they have been into and the
experiences they had when meeting some of the most fascinating peoples on the
way. Here’s one place where sunsets are spectacles by themselves and the
weather is warm throughout the year.
Food
This
is one island regarded as the epicenter of Hawaiian regional cuisine. With the
freshest bounties from the farm going into the table, there is a cornucopia of
food from fish to cattle, breadfruit, taro papaya, and coffee. Maui vacations
The
choice is superb from gourmet food trucks or a Chef’s Table at the Mill House,
gourmands and food lovers will always have a field day just tasting its way across
the small, beautiful island.
Miles of beaches
The
small island has more miles of beaches than any other island in Hawaii. You can
go around the beach from 3 months without ever having to repeat the same spot. The
bonus is that the sand comes in a variety of colors; it’s never the same
adventure again with the scenic moments you have in each place splashing in the
waves.
Magic mountains
Take
a hike across the famous magic mountain at the Haleakala Crater (around 10,000
feet at the summit). The stars come in clear and bright at night and fades
during the day.
Get
ready with your boots across the silverswords and cinder cones or maybe pack a
tent and sleep literally under a sky full of stars.
Whale sightings
Every
winter (December to April) the waters around Maui, Molokai and Lanai teem with
the densest population of humpback whales, reaching to more than 10,000 at the
height of the winter season. The leviathan population comes here to socialize,
give birth and to mate.
The
best place to watch them is at the Maui whale watch and be fascinated with the
largest creatures on earth since the beginning of time.
Water Sports
Many
of the most popular water sports in the world were invented right here in Maui.
Every year there is a pilgrimage of kite surfers, windsurfers, paddlers, and
other surfers and frolic and play at the fabled North shore.
We
haven’t even talked about the rush of people doing snorkeling, scuba diving and
sailing around the island where it is a year-round fun.
Molokini Crater
This
is a place of reverence for snorkelers, an aquatic oasis with the clearest
water of any snorkeling spot in Hawaii. Early morning is best time to get the
best conditions to explore the depths and underwater beauty of the sea.
When
snorkeling inside the Molokini crater in the winter, there is an eerie,
entrancing sound you hear as whale songs abound and can be heard all around.
For regular guys, Maui vacations, you might at a loss for words.
